Or 5th graders wrapped up their Dancing Classrooms project today with a fabulous program in our gym.  They demonstrated the Merengue, Fox Trot, Rumba, Tango, Polka, Waltz, and Swing.  The Grand Finale was the Stomp with audience participation.  Many thanks to the Rohwer PTO for sponsoring tthe dance artists from The Artery.  Also many thanks to the dance artists, Jeremy Sczepaniak and Roxanne Nielsen - and to Millard Public Schools for their support.  There are more pictures and videos in the Photo Album to the left.

Mar 12, 2014 -
We had a program by a group of people who are a part of Sheltered Reality.  Sheltered Reality is an organization that uses drumming and music to convey important life lessons.  Lots of energy and a great message!  There are more pictures and videos in the Photo Album to the left.

Mar 3, 2014 -
We had a very busy and fun week at Rohwer.  First of all, it was Teacher Appreciation Week.  Our PTO and paras treated us in so many fun and delicious ways.  I've said this before and I'll say it again - we have an awesome Rohwer Community!  We also had two teacher flip-flop days.  The students in Mrs. Vandenberg and Mrs. Hughes rooms collected the most money for Jump Rope 4 Heart so Mr Wessel traded places with them for a day.  And, we had our March Assembly on Wednesday and gave out lots of awards for Gold Keys, Music, FasttMath, and Keyboarding.  There are more pictures in the Photo Album to the left.
