NATIONAL BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH
Actually, National Bullying Prevention Month is October, but we think that anytime is a good time to think about ways to help our kids feel safe and cared for. áHere are some resources that we hope will help:
WINTER 101
Now that winter weather is arriving, there are some important things to remember -á
  • We go outside for recess if the temperature isáabove zero degrees, and there is no precipitation (so always send sufficient outdoor clothing with your child!).
  • Since snow pants are not brought to school, students may not sit/lay in the snow.á Snow may not be touched with hands or kicked.
  • Wear tennis shoes, bring snow boots in a plastic bag (when there is snow on the ground).á At recess time kids can change into their snow boots.á Kids without boots AND a pair of tennis shoes will be limited to the cement areas on the playground at recess.
  • Click here for another way to remember Winter 101.
